Turned off cold and gray again, 40 mph winds. Went for comfort food.
Jane made some of her great cheesy potato soup. I picked up some super thin sliced Burger's Smokehouse hickory smoked City Ham, some provolone, Swiss, good rye bread.
We built sammies on the rye, creamy garlic dipping sauce, provolone, ham, thin sliced Kosher dills, red roasted peppers, Swiss, grainy spicy mustard. Then on the paninni press to toast up.
Ate mighty fine with the tater soup!

Can you tell me what restaurant you get that quality of soup and sammie from? I'd like to eat there.

Well, Mike and Janes Restaurant, of course. :msn-wink:

Actually, the term began once when a friend of mine tried some of my brisket. He said it was "restaraunt good". I had to explain that that was not necessarily a compliment, but I knew that he meant it as one. :roflmaoha0:

It's a "high end" joint. Kinda exclusive. Not your average fare. :D
