View Full Version : Venison in Gravy over Smooshed Smoked Potatoes

I rolled some potatoes in olive oil and seasoned with cracked black pepper and kosher salt, then smoked them in my drum. Also smoked an onion with butter.

(these were some potatoes I smoked while smoking beef ribs)

Then cooked a couple cloves of garlic in butter.. added the cubed smoked potatoes and some of the onion...

smooshed the smoked tatoes and added milk & salt and pepper to taste..

Heated some canned venison and thickened the broth to make a gravy...

Outstanding!!! I haven't had canned venison in years. We used to eat it all the time on camping trips.
