Looks like the latest National Rankings are available here (http://nationalbbqrankings.com/ranking/1/1).

Congrats to all of the TQJ members who compete!
Seems we are in the presence of a few top 50 teams.
Most Notably;

Butcher BBQ
Caveman Cuisine
The Smokin Scotsman

I'm sure there are many more on the list, I happened to see Butt Lovers and TQJ in there too.
Congrats guys! You make TQJ and BBQ great!:woohoo:

Don't forget, the number of comps you do makes a big difference in those standings.

Without a doubt.
That link was to the overall, I think it's broke out into categories somewhere on that site too. I didn't look at that.

Here is their system:

bout
How the system works

The National BBQ Rankings combines the results of contests from contests throughout the country to see who the top team is. Each week the rankings are calculate according to the National BBQ Rankings formula to determine the rankings. Teams are rewarded points when they finish in the top 10 of a qualified contest. These rankings are release each Monday throughout the year on the nationalbbqrankings.com website.
Contests

The National BBQ Rankings includes contests from the two major sanctioning bodies in competition BBQ, FBA and KCBS.
Bonus Contests

Teams that finish in the top 10 of the contests that are designated as National BBQ Rankings bonus events are rewarded with additional points for their effort in some of competition BBQ’s most competitive events. In 2007 there were 3 Bonus events; in 2008 the number of bonus events was expanded to 5. There are no plans to increase the number of bonus events for 2009.

But how do you find your team amongst the 4300 some teams in the rankings w/o having to read the whole list?

If you know how many times you placed 10th or better overall, then look in the first column for that number.

Like Me, we placed 10th overall in our first/ only comp and we were ranked 1403 :roflmaoha0:
