Ok, at SmokieOkie's request here is the run down on my Phoenix grill.

It is a Model PG2001-P propane gasser. 24K BTU's.

This has much wear as it had never been covered from the weather. It gets used to much to cover.
The paint is popping off but has no rust.

The grill...

Controls with igniter that has yet to go bad. Most of them the cermamic cracks and bust in a couple months. This one is 2 years and going strong.

The drain valve and galv. bucket that came with it. The drain can be closed with other uses..Will explain more.

Vents that can be opened or closed as needed depending on use.

Good working temp gauge.

Stainless steel expanded metal cooking grate is standard..

The drain valve can be closed and the channel in the heat sheild can be filled with water to steam those items you might want to.

Love the expan. metal cooking grate. cook veggies, fish, pineapple and whatever else directly on the grate.

Here ya go Smokie..

Alan, that's a great looking old grill. It's got quite a few features that I like. Do you know if they're still being made?

They sure do still make them.
Here is a link. I got mine from my old boss at the gas company I used to work for.

They come in different sizes and in all stainless.

Unreal. Besides being a great looking grill (seems like it's holding up very well for the amount of use its had), I own a company, the name of which is Phoenix. While I do realizr that Phoenix is a popular name for a company, this is the first time I've seen another company using an exact duplicate of our logo. No Kidding, exact duplicate.:wow:

Looks like a nice grill. Did you say two yrs old? It has a 5 yr warranty on the finish....All powder coat finish with 5 year warranty.

Yep its 2yrs old.
I knew about the warranty. The thing is I would have to do with out it in order to have the warranty honored. That is something I can't do.
So I will just live with it the way it is. It still cooks like new. Thats what I really care about..
Thanks though.
