That's why I posted this in the In the Kitchen forum.

found some left over spare ribs and brisket while straightening up the deep freeze. We whipped up some of the Okette's world famous beans and it was a meal.


Oh yeah, and some of her also world famous white dill tater salad:

I dunno, that doesn't look too good, kinda old.

As usual that's some fine lookin groceries. It's always good to find good eats in the freezer.

How about the recipe to those World Famous Okette vittles :msn-wink:

I'll give it to you the way she gives it to me

1 can beans
some chopped up left over Q meat ( been meet)
some chopped bell pepper and jalapeņo
some chopped onion
some BBQ sauce
some brown sugar
bake 375 for about an hour

Tater Salad

A couple pounds red taters
some sour cream
some Hellman's mayo
some cut up black olives
some chopped onion
some chopped up dill pickles
some chopped eggs
some black pepper
some dill mustard
some chopped fresh dill

combine and chill

I have noted recipe ingredients on four or five occasions, and all the recipes are different.

I just love precision in cooking.:roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0:

I don't know about you, but I usually find that leftover Q is better than the day it was cooked anyway. I'd :eating: that for sure!!
