A little while ago some posted some pix that included hash brown casserole.

I don't remember who, but whoever it was, thank you cuz I hadn't had it for ages, and it sure is good.

The Okette calls them funeral taters cuz growing up, every funeral she ever went to, two or three old ladies brought one to the funeral meal.

I think I posted a recipe on the thread, and if annyone is interested in it, I'll post it again.

Anyway, here is what it looks like:

And plated with some lack of ram and sauteed Swiss chard:

Thanx for looking.

Nice plate. I tried these potatoes a couple of weeks ago and they are great and real easy to make.

We like to add all the cheese into the mix and then sprinkle even more over the top, but then, some have said that I'm a bit cheesy.:blushing::roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0:

For the life of me I can not even comprehend that someone would say that you are cheesy.:shrug: A more down to earth "Q"er I have never seen. :roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0:

I'm thinking that only hash brown casserole I've tried is at Cracker Barrel and thats some pretty good stuff right there. I have never thought about making it myself but since Tim shared his recipe, I am gonna give it a shot!

I do have a question for ya Tim. The recipe calls for "4 ounces buttery round crackers", I am gonna assume that buttery round crackers would be something along the lines of Ritz crackers?
