Here you go Bill, quick 'n easy weekday meal. American cheese, smoked ham, pulled pork, dill slices and a good slathering of mustard. The secret is using s heavy weight to squash the sammie together while grilling the outside. Enjoy.

Great looking Cuban sandwich there! Next batch of PP I make, I'll have to set some aside for this.

What do you use for a weight? I've seen bricks and a pan used on TV, but what do you use?

I have a couple of them, but my fave is a big round one made of SS w/ a CI core.

A foiled brick works well. A skillet w/ something heavy in it works well too.

It's vital that you pres the sammie though. That's what makes it.

Actually, I have grilled cubans before. Used a brick wrapped in foil, lo all those years ago.
