Had a great time at the National Dutchoven Gathering. Ruby and I did ByBBQ's breakfast pies. They were a big hit, everyone loved them and wanted the recipe. Here they are.

We had a great time and we also found the largest dutchoven we've ever seen alone with its tools.

Well, Oscar did the breakfast pie(s) at The Last Fling 'Til Spring, two of them. He cooked one in a Dutch oven and the other he did on his drum at 350F.
Now. That is some good eats right there folks! We liked the smoked one off the drum best, but both were mighty fine grub!

If you are looking for something that is different and delicious for breakfast (heck, I'd eat this ANYTIME!) try this pie!
Great Mother of Pearl! Good eats Maynard!

Big thanks to byBBQ for sharing the recipe. :thumbs up:

Here it is coming down to the final bite. Oscar forgot to puncture the egg yolks, but guess what? It ate just fine!

You, sir, are indeed evil for showing me such fine food and forcing me to abandon my diet. (I was planing on double cheeseburgers for dinner:roflmaoha0:)
