Sounds like a great deal! Is the wood seasoned yet?

well i just figured out the downside to free wood. when you figure out where to put it.. and then you get more than that spot can handle..you have to adjust. in this case build. so to put the rack where it needed to go, that meant moving the 1/2 cord, putting in the rack.. then moving the wood back. and then theres the free load. thats a lot of wood to move. figure about 1/2 cord a truck.. up onto the truck.. onto the ground.. onto the stack... then off the stack, and then back on it.. repeat for 2nd load. all the sudden a stumps isn't sounding bad!! ha..

heres the rack half loaded..

shot of the corner..

4 2x4x10, one 2x4x6 (treated) and 40 screws.. about 25 bucks.. and had just a foot left over. will finish loading tomorrow..

Nice rack, bummer you had so much work getting all the wood in place though. Thanks for sharing your wood rack with us buster.

They make good fish bait.

If you put a bunch of them in a burlap sack and stomp them around a bit then weight them and sink them in a fishy looking hole, the fish will float up for you. That's the only thing I've found them to be good for.

Nice RACK Spence!:msn-wink:
