Today was my first BBQ compitition(only ribs). Started before daylight, and no electric, not a problem. That what they made lanterns for.
After many hours of hard work and toiling over a hot smoker we had a turn in, needs lots of work and practice, but a turn nun the less.
Results: A very happy sponsor, 1st place. Now I'm ruined. Had loads of fun and cooked for my sponsors. We had hamberger fatties, chicken bits, smoked boudain and ABTs.

Ruby had to work, but I wish she had been their. It would have been a lot easier. I'd had more time to do what I do best. Spread hate and discontent:roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0:

I do have a new respect for you guys that compete in all four catatories at the same time.

(They'll all be buying lanterns)

I was down at Stockton Lake, stopped in the local grocery. Wearing same shirt. Checkout lady said, "You got your butt rubbed. Did you like it?" :wo:

One of these day I'll have to try them against the big boys. There was 16 cooks at this comp. I don't think any of them had ever competed in any large comp.
