I think Smokin turkey did one of his that way. I can't remember what the reason was. Maybe he'll weigh in on it.

The only advantage that I could possibly figure would be to load and remove a whole hog easier but the wood box is in the way on this one.

Agree with you on that point. Lot easier to load one as well., especially if it has bearings on the rack.

Wheel and fender make the door closest to the fire box hard to access. Doors are kinda small. Without the end door, you couldn't remove the rack for cleaning.

I th8ink that would depend on how well designed and built it is. I think you'd prolly have a tough time finding a decent trailer mounted stickburner for under $200 though.
