View Full Version : Brisket Cubans

We were gonna have Cuban sammies tonight, but when I went to the freezer to get our last pak of pork, I discovered it was Carne Mechada. I also found a couple packs of left over brisket.

I had stopped by the store just to get the hoagie rolls, and the sammies still sounded good, so instead of scrapping the Cuban Sammie idea, we decided to have Brisket Cubans.

Here's what I did:

Slather of mustard on both sides, a couple Clausen dill slices, a slice or two of brisket, a slice of ham, and a slice of American cheese.

Then onto the flat top with a press on top.

They were better than expected and we will repeat. We suggest that you give them a try sometime.
