No pics of the plates, but the kids cleaned up every bite of this meal. Not a scrap of pasta or a sliver of salmon left. Another winner! :thumbs up: :wings:

The salmon was marinated in a commercial teriyaki marinade. Nothing special, IMO, but it was good. Cooked with indirect heat, about 350. Don't know how long.

Sides were sliced cantaloupe and a zucchini pasta. Marie found the recipe in the local paper, and it was gooood! Bill, the FIL, didn't like it, but he doesn't care for any pasta beyond spaghetti and red sauce.

Edit: The pasta recipe can be found here (http://www.theqjoint.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3713).

Salmon on the grill. The edges were overdone, but the center was fine.

The zucchini mixture, chillin' until the pasta is done. With the capers in the mix, this was a perfect side for the fish.

And plated. I had 2 plates and could barely walk out. But it's all healthy food, right? :msn-wink::roflmaoha0:

It all looks great Rob. Gotta have a little more info on the zucchini recipe though.

It all looks great! Interesting to see you added "'loupe" to the plate. So it isn't just me! I love the sweet melon with almost any grilled or BBQ'd meat! It's not just for breakfast anymore!!

I like to coat it with melted honey butter, grill it and then put a big scoop of niller I scream or orange sherbet on top. :blushing:

Wow! Never woulda thought of that! Sounds interesting. I assume only light grilling?

Speaking of loupe, niller I scream and sherbet...reminds me of something my mom used to make. She used a melon baller to scoop out watermelon, loupe and honeydew and add to balls of niller, orange and lime sherbet all served in a 1/2 watermelon shell. Cool summer dessert!

Just enough to caramelize the honey a little. High heat.
