It was a beautiful Saturday here in Northern Indiana. Got the taste for some smoked chicken. I have been working on a new homemade apple cider vinegar marinade for chicken and it seemed like a great time to try it. Here are some pics:

Served it up with some fresh garlic green beans, corn on the cob (sugar on a cob is more like it) and a fresh baked potato with chives.

The marinade is still not where I want it to be but it ws still pretty good.

The corn is unbelievable this year. Our weather has been perfect for growing sweet corn this year. Big full ears with a huge sugar content.

Very nice, the corn looks great also!

That all looks good! Hope the corn in northeastern Ohio is that good this year. We are starting to get some small early ears, I'm waiting for the good stuff! Hmmm... no details on the marinade?
