I guess that's a good buy, but I don't use it.

thanks I will check my local lowes. We mix it with royal oak and get some great burn times with it.

I also discovered by surprise that coupons are attached for a free grill lighter and free spatula on the bag(s). Check the date restriction periods. This product is not my first choice when creating a fire, but comes in real handy as a source of heat when the lights go out during hurricane season here in the south.

Enjoy,

I won't buy it just cuz I can't stand them Kingsford "sunny beaches" ( use your imagination)

Besides, it prolly makes your food taste like bleach cuz they're owned by Clorox.:shake:

Yak,
Thanks for the heads up. I just used up my last bag of Ranger that I bought when Home Depot closed them out. Like some others, it's not my first pick in charcoal but at that price, I can use it. Picked up four bags this AM.

Bubba, if it works for you, that's great! I know I won't buy it. I'd sooner burn the dog chit in the back yard. :roflmaoha0:

I haven't used Kingsford since I called and emailed them to complain about their changing the original back in '06 or '07. They basically told me something about how less is more ( you know, the way that your 18# used to be 22), and that if I didn't like it, "Too bad so sad"

I much prefer to do business with companies that are a little more responsive to the wants and needs of their customers. Besides, it caused me to go out and experiment with lump coal. That was the best thing I ever did. I'll never look back.:thumbs up:

Kindsford ain't my favorite by a long stretch, but I did pick up 10 bags... Good price!

I used my Kingsford this weekend and had absolutely zero complaints on the quality and taste of food. Will use the product again.

I'm sure you will get no complaints. there are just things that I think provide superior flavor, fuel efficiency, and leave less ash.

A Chevy will get you where you are going, but a Cadillac does it better. It's that kinda thing.

I do have a personal bone to pick with Kingsford though. It's my personal bone, and nothing that anyone else needs to consider.
