Not from the sea, but the do line in water...

The local Kroger had live crawfish for $.99lb. Picked up about 6lbs. Split those between me and 2 kiddos. Here is my small portion.

Pvt., tail off and suck the tamale(sp?)(fat) from the "head" section. eat the tail..........after take'n off the shell.:msn-wink::roflmaoha0: Oh, might devein before eat'n, but not needed if purged..........or in a dark garage w/plenty of beer.:msn-wink::roflmaoha0:(been there, done that)

Good flavor in the heads, spice, fat, hmmmmmmmm sounds good.

Well, we already had dinner planned... :shrug: Just couldn't pass 'em up for a pre-meal snack... I can easily put a good sized dent in a 40lb bag all by myself! :msn-wink:

our walmart sells them all the time never bought em....how do you prepare em They look and sound good too me

Basically, boil them... I did it pretty simple with thiis small batch with just some crab boil, extra garlic, hotsauce and lemon juice, but would normally add corn, potatoes, sausage, whole head of garlic etc...

If you get them at my Wal-Mart, they'll steam them right there for you wit some Old Bays....I think they'll do it for nothing or next to nothing. Just don't eat them all in the checkout line or on the drive home.:msn-wink:
