The victims...... :roflmaoha0:
butterbeans soaked overnight, rinsed, and sorted
Ham bone and ham chunks leftover from double-smoked Easter ham

Everything seasoned and in the pot. I'll put the lid on and let it slow simmer for a 2-3 hours or so.

Getting close now, meat is starting to pull off the bone and the juice is reducing and thickening up.

Very nice, Jim. It's been years since I had butterbeans. I love them, I just don't ever remember to fix them. Sure wish I were there to snatch a bowl!

Yea Right.:roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0:

I usually make these when my back is bothering me, that way I can stretch out in the middle of the bed. For some reason Pam always sleeps in the other bedroom when I make them.:shrug::roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0:
