Haven't cooked since T-Day

No time, and crazyest weather. -27 a few days ago, -15 now (with wind chills)

Add on Christams rush, swim and dance practice for the kid, ACT testing and classes for the Junior, and our boat is full.

Dinners are a mish mash.

Pulled pork in a cryosuck from 9/08 a few days back. Smoked ground beef chopped up in a cryo from 8/08.

Took the smoked ground beef (3/4#) added 1.25# fresh ground sirloin and 2 boxes of Zatarains dirty rice.

Big bowl of dirty rice. That was dinner, and it was good!!

Leftovers went onto fajita/taco's a few days later

Here a 8 quart pan, plus close up

After the family loads up on comfort food, we pass out with the dogs....

Here's to hoping to cook more in 2009

Got 2# bacon going on the Weber kettle tomorrow.

Love cooking bacon on the kettle offset, lid on.

Done in no time, and the pieces are nice and flat.

No mess

Merry Christmas!!!

We Love Zatarains dirty rice.It makes a good main dish on a night you don't have much time and is a good side dish also.

Excellent groceries Bill! And I like bacon cooked any way I can - grill, smoker, skillet ... it's all good.

Hope you have just enough time for more cooking this coming year buster. Don't want you to have too much time on your hands. We all know what happens then :msn-wink: :roflmaoha0:
