We got a Lodge 2.5qt casserole pan not long ago and have cooked with it couple of times but I thought a camp breakfast for dinner would taste great outta cast. It did.

Warmed up some ham, I used fat cut from pieces of ham and rendered into grease to caramelize some yellow onion. Removed onion and added potatoes and some seasoning Tony C's and CBP. Browned and added the diced ham, onion and I threw in some chopped up fatty fingers from yesterday. Stirred together and poured in 5 beaten eggs. Use spatula to move mixture around till egg it done. Served with sourdough toast. Only comments I heard was could have used a bit more egg for the amount of hash.

I love that Lodge more everytime I cook on it. Need to get some ovens, maybe Santa will bring one!! hint hint:roflmaoha0:

You have no cast iron pans/skillets?:smack:

Be a good boy and maybe Santa will bring ya some!:D

It is good to cook on, I suggest a dutch and a grilll pan to start. Then use another c.card to buy more.:msn-wink::D They last, though, they do last a long time.
