A good friend who is the manager of one of our local Food Pyramid stores, called me Sat morning to say he had a humidor they were getting rid of cause the quit selling cigars. The humidor itself was not much count, but the humidifier is a 150.00 unit. He gave it to me. Score!!!!!!:cheer:While I was there I did a little shopping. Beef tenderloin retails at 18 bucks a pound (another local store charges 24.99LB). They were on sale @12.99 a lb. Saw this @ 8.99 lb. Meat manager said it was mis marked when I asked if they had anymore. It even came gift wrapped. Score again!!!!:cheer:

Made 8 nice fillets wrapped in bacon and seasoned. I froze 4, gave 2 to my friend, and 2 for me to grill.

I also picked up a wild caught, frozen on the boat, Alaskan Salmon fillet, and a pack of "country style" ribs. Fired up the drum, and away we went like I knew what I was doing:roflmaoha0:.

Used this on the salmon

I rubbed the fish with butter, applied the "rub", then drenched it with honey.

Also made some ABTs. Cream cheese, chopped brisket, Parmesan, crushed pineapple, and provolone

Onto the drum

First off were the abt's

Then the Salmon went on, and 40 minutes later,

It was among the best I've ever had.:drooling:

Last were the ribs. Good flavor, but I overcooked them a little. I think I'll try the rest on the grill, and keep a better eye on them.

All in all, it was a great day for cooking outside, and drinking beer, and enjoying a good cigar. Thanks for looking and letting me share.

Been hangin' out with the Okie I see. :roflmaoha0:

Great score Curt. Killer eats.
With your skills you will incorporate that humidifier into a new finely crafted humidor in no time. Post us some pics when you get it done.

Where in the HECK are the mods?!!! This is BS! All this food needs to be sent to your nearest "BigAL" recycle center, NOW! It's for your own good "will". Hey, I don't like the idea either,, but we do it for you.
