Was not sure where else this might go. This was really not for profit, rather just a big party that a friend and I do year. We had 105 RSVP's on Thursday and had another expected 25 to show. Rain put a damper on things but a good time was had by all. Total Count was 64 people.

Menu:
Brisket(SmokieOkie Style)
Chicken 1/4's
Beer Boiled Brats with a little smoke
Fatty's
ABT's(for us only)
Venison Roast
German Potato Salad
Red Cabage
Sauerkraut
Keg Richbrau Octoberfest larger
12 FREE cases of brew from a friend that works for Anheiser Busch
Mic. light, Mic. Ultra, Bud-light, Bud-Ale.

Others were asked to bring sides as well. The items above are what we prepared.

Started Wed. evening rubbing the briskets and Venison.
Thurs. evening we brined the chicken 1/4's
The cooking started on Friday for the party on Saturday.

Pics will follow.

That's about it. Very fun but, tiring weekend.
We have plenty of leftovers since not many showed. Will be working on Vac-sealing stuff and taking tents down the rest of the day.

Thanks Tim, for answering my questions awhile back.
Everything was delicious.:msn-wink:

Alan everything looks great!

Is the party at your place or does everyone meet somewhere?

I have only cooked for that many people a few times. It is a lot of work.We have quite a few UDS in the neighborhood so We all borrow them as needed.
Thanks for the pictures!

That is some fine looking grub!

Do you always boil the brats first. Me and Chargrilled have been in a feud about that process for a year or so now. I always boil first using Miller High Life, Onion, Jalapeno, Garlic, and G. Peppers.

Anyways that is some great lookin vittles!!

Thanks for the compliment. Yes we generally boil them in beer first. My Buddy like to grill them afterwards but this year I told him to try with the smoke. He was sceptical at 1st, then he tried one and said we are doing them all like that.
