Hope to get a crock of beef stew going tomorrow.

If I don't get yelled at (again), I hope to take pics.

Don't have a recipe to right down, other than a stew starter packet and 2# beef round cubed into 1" pieces, and then add whatever veggies (potatoes a given) I have.

Drop biscuit or rolls on the side.

Feel free to add beef stew tips/recipes/pics so we can build this thread.

We can even edit out the term "crock pot" if we move more into the Dutch OVen arena and place it where it needs to be.

Dang, stew sounds good. I've never made it, but Mom does a good job with it.

OK, what's the stew starter pack?

Its just what I use to get it started.

I'll add some Tony Chachere Brown Gravy, but double the water, and maybe a boullion cube.

If its too watery near the end, some instant potato flake (not many) will thicken it. Too thick, add a little water.
