well as you know i have become hooked on these and plan on mastering them one day, i tried this batch on the bbq with some pecan chips in the smoker box and had them in a pie plate to soak up all that bacon love and other juices, turned out good, but i like it better on the smoker so far, but i could have left them on longer and it would have changed it up to.i also tried some with herb and garlic cream cheese and some just cream cheese, i think regular cream cheese came out with the most vote.

Jake, try cream cheese, mascarpone cheese, chopped sundried tomatoes, basil and fresh garlic.

They'll blow your mind.

Mix it together and let it macerate for an hour or two, or better yet, overnight.

Garlic, basil, and tomato is what I call the Italian "Trinity) The Mascarpone is kinda their version of cream cheese, but much richer and sweeter.

If you go to buy some, don't let the price tag scare you off, it's worht every penny.

Jake all looks good,

do not be afraid to let that bacon drip out. Them pepper benefit from it!!! Smoker yes!!!, but you can do them as is, just let em breath. That bacon fat that drips down alittle causes smoke. THE PORK FAT KIND!! That will add to the vittles and tighten up them lil peppers:msn-wink:

You guys and your cheese mixin:roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0: dont even want to go there...............WHERE THE HE11 IS BILL DURING ALL THIS.

Jake,
after close scrutiny, I have come to the conclusion that the grate on your grill is entirely too clean (did anyone else notice, or was it just my superior observational abilities?:roflmaoha0:)

At any rate, I have decided that it is from severe lack of use, or total anal retentive attitude toward grill cleanliness.

which one do you suppose it is, or am I just totally off base?:roflmaoha0:

Just white photobucket boxes.

SmokyOkie
10-19-2008, 10:42 AM
Jake, you can't delete pix from your Photobucket page if you want them to stay on your posts. When you post them and then delete them, they only show up as a white box.

I've deleted pix from PB in the past having forgotten why they were there, then revisited my original thread and seen only the boxes. In fact, I have a thread in the garden section right now.
