The smoke doctor recommends 5#-10# of beef suet and or pork fatback at 350 until totally rendered.

I like the looks of your new girl Alan. Best looking Lang unit I've seen...Oh, and BTW thanx for showing us her hot box!:msn-wink:

Looks great Alan!

How much you need to pay the guy in the unmarked police cruiser to sit and watch over it like that?

Since your in VA, is he local, or Federal?

Didnt think Richmond was that bad of an area, but what do I know.

;)

Congrats

Thats great ds, when I seen the thread title I was happy. Its what I really came over here to find out anyways. Glad to see its there finally. Looks like ya "worried yourself sick" over it! sure looks alot different than mine.

I am gonna post a couple pics of mine here so some folks can compair the old with the new generation Langs. I hope you don't mind. You have some excellent pics of your new rig. Get some sleep,(if ya can LOL) and get better so ya can play wif it!

I know you don't have the warmer, but hopefully folks can distinguish the differences in shape and other changes from old to knew.

I am so happy for ya. Baby backs are on sale here at meijers for 2.99 a lb in cryo, single rack to a pack. what could be better than that!

Direct TV just got me back in business with my satellite. So now even though I am sick..........not to bad.
I am going out to fire it up.

I have already pulled a brisket down for smoking on saturday as well as a pork loin. Gonna do a couple whole chickens and maybe some beans that day as well.

Forgot to mention, might want to think bout getting a spare mounted before you travel with her. One flat and you would have to leave her on the side of the road while you got a tire fixed.

Or like me, I would stay with her and send the wife for help while baby sitting some ribs!!!! :roflmaoha0:

thank god she doesnt read these posts......no blackmail either.

Damn nice smoker, and I'm glad you are finally able to play with your baby! I just placed an order for 180lbs of pork butts for this weekend's cook. Can't wait to see some meat on that girl!
