He was a born Sept 15, 1926 the only son and first child of 4 just a Texas ranch kid from pioneer stock full of try & grit. He could ride almost before he could walk. Worked cows a horesback in the Texas heat from dark to dark when he wasn't in school. At just past 15 when his country called he ran off to war with his Pa's blessing as a Marine island hopping across the pacific. He came home & finished High school as an old man of 19 then on to A&M on the GI Bill where he met the love of his life who stood by his side for the next 56 yrs through flush or bust. That was my Dad MY HERO 10 ft tall & bullet proof, Today at 3:40 pm he passed from this world to the next, I hope Momma has dinner ready and he remembers to knocks the mud from his boots & remove his spurs. Adios mi Amigo Semper FI RIP Dad!
