Was in the mood for a Venison roast last weekend and with some in the freezer guess what?.....

Here is the out come of that.
First brine in whatever solution you like. I tried not to smother the venison flavour with the brine.

Talk about moist

This was yum yum and for my wife who does not necessarily eat venison to have this for supper and then say "This is pretty good..., I can handle this..." says a lot.

i never brined red meat......hints??

i typically have 2-3 deer a year in my freezer, and i have never ever took a chunk of red meat and submerged it in a water brine or are you using a dry brine??

look great, but i'm at a complete loss...like a corned beef brine?
