I had some Mccormick steak seasoning, big, chunky, typical/regular stuff they have.(can't remember actual name....maybe montreal steak season?)

Didn't like texture so I ground it up in my spice(coffee) grinder. MUCH better. kids, and I, like it better.

Also check on amazon.com for plastic containers that you can freeze, microwave, and dishwash. I got a bunch for 30 bucks. They are awsome. I got the 16 & 24 oz ones. Great for single and double portions for the kids and I.:thumbs up:

Thanks for the tip on the Canuck beast dirt:shrug: I like to use it on Chuck roasts for pulled beef but I like is a little smaller grained.

I use that half and half with "complete seasoning". Use it on brisket
