Been a long time since I've been alive and active among the rest of humanity. It's been a long year + but I'm getting active again with help from a whole lot of people including you folks on the FORUM.

Thanks a million for all of your support.

Am being treated to a pre-b-day gift and would like to share the pics of it's arrival. Had to order it's construction to start last month because of the rapid backlog that occurs with this co. every year.

Purchased a LANG 48" Patio Deluxe Smoker. Have enough grills so I didn't need the hybrid model. I have a person with a hoist and a 60' boom to lift it over my rock wall within a couple of days as the gates are to narrow for it to pass through.

Will then take time to season it real good. In the meantime
need to get some meat out of the freezer and then learn how to use this beautiful piece of equipment. Will send pics of my stumbling attempts. E.T.

Temporary in garage. Excuse the mess, please. Had an oops to the fire box door latch when off loading but a new one is on the way. The prep table is a drop down to save space.

My over the road toy in background.

Thanks for the kudo's folks. Monday she will get airlifted to it's designated spot in the back yard. Not an airplane just a king
sizedfork lift. Will wrap the heavy end with heavy duty strapping around and under the big end and over the wall she goes.
Going to lay down 1" plywood to roll it into place and then the fun begins. Going to spray peanut oil over the entire inside areas except the firebox, then fire it up real good to cure the insides much like you season your cast iron cookware. Get the temp on the upside of 300 degs. then, with the drain valve open, turn on the hose and spray the insides just enough to wash off the unwanted junk. Then I will close the vents most of the way and create a massive amount of smoke to create a soot protective varnish.
Now I should be ready to cook. I've got 3--10 lb. pork butts to practice on. Will take pics and be open for suggestions, please. E.T.

Dirty inside and out. After yesterdays cook I have two sessions of firing it up just to hose the insides down to knock off the junk and down the drain and into a five gal. bucket. Easy enough, just stand far enough back so you don't get steamed. Will clean the outside
tomorrow when its cooled down.
