got the little one this morning.. early morning road trip to GA. back home now and she's purring along at 375.. gotta get her cleaned up from the construction stuff and get some food on. i got peeps coming for smoked chicken tonight.. oh.. also throwing on 2 butts, just cause. pics to follow as soon as the phone charges..

this thing is much bigger than i expected. can't wait for the big brother to show up in May..

About that time to christen the cooker. 10 thighs going in and 2 butts.. today I've got my brine on the chix but duates with JOS huney muney cluck rub and the butts are injected with apple juice, vin, salt, sugar and a dash of franks. Chicken...nor a lot of pics as it was gobbled up as fast as I could take it off...butts are at 145. Been in for about 3.5 hours

Pulled...the bottom of the butt was way dry, but that's a not wrapping and cooking at 300+ issue. Other than that..its really good.

so I got the call today... new G2 Party is going to crating soon.. should have it perhaps next week on wed/thur. gotta get some wheels for it this weekend. I don't care for the ones I got at harbor freight. I've got a lip in the garage and it's hard to roll the chubby (read that as hard for the chubby to roll the chubby..) over and the Party is 100 more pound or so.. need the pneumatic ones... pics a plenty coming..

also I just read thru these previous posts. I think I had been into the shine a little too much that night and trying to post from my phone. bad combination, grammatically speaking.. :roflmaoha0:
