Hello again All,
decent weather here this weekend so used that as an
excuse to fire up the little Cobb again.:

These little beauties were on offer so snapped them up;

Ok, so here's how the Cobb packs away;

This is what's inside;

And fully assembled (notice the extension ring which allows for a larger
coking area though I won't be using that today);

Here's the charcoal and wood I'll be using;

Charcoal lit, wood on and smoking nicely. I added some bay leaves
to the water bowl for a little added flavour;

Shoulder was rubbed with fresh ground black pepper and peri-peri Aromat. Keeping
it nice and simple;

All closed up and looking good;

Once the lid's on, temperature rises quickly and with only seven briquettes
it held steady between 200 and 250F;

After an hour and a half, turned the meat and added some newly dug
potatoes from the garden;

Another hour and a half, this is what we've got;

That little shoulder was super-moist;

Finished plate with coleslaw added. No salad today, had my monthly quota
last week;

Excellent job Phil! The Cobb is a nice little machine and looks to put out some excellent food. Thanks for sharing and it's great to have some smoke floating in from across the pond. Hope to see lots more stuff from you soon.
