Fired up the smoker early this morning anticipating pulled pork sammies.

After rubbing the butt 2 days prior, The anticipation grew stronger every time I open the fridge and gazed upon the beautiful crimson cut of pork as the aroma wafted by and gently kissed my nose.

The time had come. The crackling of lump in the chimney and the smell of oak in the cool morning air as I sipped upon my warm roasted coffee.

"Today will be good day" I thought to myself, as the warm sun glisten through the leaves of the big cottonwood.

A small mosquito had graced upon my calph to indulge in thee BBQ that flowed through my veins.

:censored2: :smack: And the mosquito was no more. This only reminded me that I was not dreaming and today would still be a good day.(pending Skin so soft.)

I removed the Crimson cut of pork from it's chilly dwelling and started to mix the ingredients for an inject to only glisten it's natural perfection.

The butt was rubbed and now being penetrated with flavor from without and from within, The Coals were ready and the hickory was emitting it's wonderful aroma and it's thin blue smoke like angles ascending into heaven.

I carried the butt upon a cutting board with my chest bowed up and full of pride. I placed the butt upon the smoker to meet with the angles. occasionally spritzing a fruity concoction as the neighbors notice a sweetness in the air.

When it reached an internal temp of 160 i wrapped it foil like a baby in a blanket on a cool fall day.

When it reached it's destination temp of 200 I wrapped in towels and nestled it into a cooler.

2hrs later the time had come. The crimson cut of pork was now glistening like a diamond and a fragrance that made your knee's weak as twigs.

I grabbed the butt trying to lift it from the foil pan holding a firm grip for it not to fall apart yet.

Now the moment I had been waited forhas now arrived,..............

I knew today would be a good day.
