Got slammed today at a 6 hour swim meet.

Slammed as in 90* and exhausted and hungry.

So it was off to Thomas' BBQ tonight!!!! (http://www.thomasbbq.com/)

Big ole Southern Pride in there churning out Alabama style Q.

Good chit.

Had the rib tip/hot link combo, side of beans.

Didn't snap one, but had one on file as I just love this place.

Wife came home after the awards ceremony (I bailed) and said "What smells like barbecue?"

I said: "Barbecue"

There;s an order of fries (fat steak fries) buried under this mess of goodness

heck no. I tried.

But then damn white pieces of sponge bread are filling!;)

I have had links and tips twice since I brought that home.

Its super hard to find great Q here in Chitown, I am blessed to have the real deal within a mile.

Just had another hot link at midnight.

Will be praying at the porcelain altar in about 6 hours.

Good stuff!

Looks like a fella could get just right sticky getting around all that... Bet it was da bomb after being so hungry.

Hope that sauce is good, 'cause there is lots of it on there! :drooling:

Not too many places around here where a fella could get something that looks that appetizing!
