View Full Version : I put some peppers in the ground...

last weekend. I had found these plants locally for .25 cents each and bought 8 of them. They're all planted in various pots since my yard isn't suited for a true garden. The poor things were pot bound which is why they were so cheap, but each of them already had peppers on them. I picked up some Sweet Banana peppers, some Hungarian Wax peppers, some Jalapeno peppers, and what appears to be a Bell Pepper plant, although I'm not 100% sure.

Here's what I believe to be the Bell...

Here are some pictures of the other plants...

I guess I didn't get a shot of the Banana peppers on the plant. Here are the peppers I harvested last evening...

And, just for the fun of it, here's a shot of a few of my tomato plants...

And Aji Dulce on the front left, Cayenne on the front right...

I've got to thank the Okie for his guidance on selecting my tomato plants as well as his advice on how to treat the recent fungus they had. Thanks, Tim!!

Those look to me like they need more light Kev. the way they're tall and spindly looks like they're seeking light.
