2 lbs of ground beef and 1 lb of ground lamb meat and followed a Alton Brown Good Eats recipe for gyros and Tzatziki Sauce. He made a loaf but I made Kebobs to get more of a crust on the outside of each one.

Kebobs all made up waiting for the grill to get hot.

Half of them on the grill and trying to get a good sear on each side.

Finished them indirect

Some veggies cooked in the wok. Its been a while since I cooked some of these things and I was actually craving them. Whats wrong with me.........I am actually craving vegetables.

My plate.

Now I'm off to cook the last four for my Niece. She is working late tonight so my Wife promised her a warm meal tonight. How nice of her.

That looks obsxcenely delicious. I LOVE Gyros, and have been struggling with how to make some on the equipment I have. This would fill the bill!

That's close to the mix I use for burgers. I'll have to do them on pita w/ tsasiki next time.

Looks great!

thanx for posting.

Was the flavor comparable to what you get at the gryo places?

Very similar and the Tzatziki Sauce tastes exactly the same
