Thats right,.......finally! we (Jax and I) got into a class. Round here they fill up even before they are posted in the bull sheet.

Nov. 5th NW Illinois. Finally:monkey::monkey::monkey: Cert BBQ judges.

Next step is to enter into a few contests,......freaking work permitting. I'll tell ya if a guy was a millionaire he could really............................................ ......

I wanted to get to a comp you were in this year but my work schedule wrecked everything this year. Would like to meet some comp teams to see how it all works.

what the he!! should we bring?? We are going to be in the area after the class to look at a vehicle and also my college bro reunion is that nite but what should be bring to the class, notebook paper and pen?? I believe we have been taught alot my you fine folks and those on the bbq circuit

You don't need to bring anything. They will furnish everything you will need.

wish i woulda brought a pen and paper but the notes page was provided and my lovely co judge wife had a pen as i was scribbling.

Our food was bad as well B. I think (know) they do that intentionally no to mention it's held forever while people ask questions.

They tend to serve not so good food for a couple of reasons.

First, they have to turn out a lot of turn ins in a short window.

Second, they aren't competing.
